We are located in the heart of the East Village, (once noted as the Lower East Side) at the Corner of 6th street and 2nd Avenue. Our landmark Neon sign, illuminating our name Block Drug Stores®, was installed in 1945. Our drug store was Established in 1885, and is considered one of the oldest pharmacies in NYC. Owned and operated by Carmine and Beth Palermo, Block Drug Stores®, we are committed to assisting you in your health needs, be it through nutritional supplements like vitamins and natural occurring herbal products, to homeopathic remedies, surgical supplies and prescription medications. We carry a full line of cough syrups, cold/allergy medications, diabetic blood sugar monitors and strips, blood pressure monitors, women’s care, hair dye and accessories, reading glasses, deodorants, shampoos, body and hand lotions, analgesics (patches, creams, tablets), bar/liquid soaps, paper goods, and house hold products, as well as a full line of Home Health Care items.
